Supertrends welcomes Claus Rothoff Brix as new CEO

Today we are happy to share that Claus Rothoff Brix, 48, has been selected as our new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the new role on the 1st of January 2022.

Sharing his thoughts about joining Supertrends, Claus wrote:

Claus Rothoff Brix joins us with more than 20 years of experience in the media industry, having most recently served as the CCO for Ekstra Bladet with a special focus on digital transformation and commercial growth. Prior to that, he led Nordisk Film’s media business as the Nordic CEO, during which time he led the development of the new Nordisk Film subsidiary Airmagine, which manages all the advertising space at Copenhagen Airport. He also brings a profound knowledge of the cinema media, broadcast television and magazine industries, owing to, among other roles, over 10 years of experience at TV2 Denmark.

Claus will be taking over from our current CEO Kim Weis Hansen, who will transition into the new role of Chief Operating Officer at Supertrends and work together with Claus to ensure a seamless transition. In line with the company’s growth ambitions in Denmark and Switzerland, Claus will be positioned in Supertrends’ upcoming office in Copenhagen, while Kim will remain in Switzerland to focus on supporting the existing team based in Zug as well as leading the development of a brand new Supertrends studio in Thalwil, Zurich. We look forward to the opening of both offices in early 2022, which will also serve as the locations for our Supertrends Strategy Rooms services.

Kim steered the company through an important development phase. Under his leadership, Supertrends launched four innovative and bespoke future-as-a-service (FaaS) solutions, opened its first office in Denmark, delivered its first white-label products to clients, and added twelve full-time hires globally.
